This patient found me when she searched for board-certified plastic surgeons in Southwest Florida, including Naples, Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Marco Island.

While she’s older than most of my breast augmentation patients, the patient was an excellent candidate for breast enhancement combined with breast lift (mastopexy) to correct the inevitable droopiness that comes with age. I used 325 cc smooth round moderate plus saline breast implants to achieve a 1 cup size increase with better fullness in her upper chest. During her breast enhancement surgery in Naples, Florida, I was able to conceal the scar quite well by placing the incision in the inframammary fold, and to improve fullness in the upper breast, I placed the implant in the subpectoral pocket.

This patient demonstrates implant descent, a phenomenon that can occur when larger implants settle lower in the breast because of the weight of the implant and the quality of the patient’s skin. Despite this descent of the breast implants, she’s still very happy with her end result, telling me that she thinks she has a very natural look for a woman her age.
