Dr. Hasen Named to the Top 40 Under 40 as One of Southwest Florida's Rising Stars by Gulfshore Business Magazine
The night after a surgery, Dr. Kent Hasen drives to his patient's house to see how he or she is doing. After-hours callers receive the plastic surgeon's cell phone number instead of talking to an answering service. Such personal care is what Hasen says has served him better than joining the "big race with all the other plastic surgeons to do the biggest, best ad campaigns."
Hasen, 38, earned his medical degree at Cornell University and opened Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Naples in 2002. And he's the recipient of various scientific and research awards from organizations such as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Hasen provides a few free reconstructive surgeries a year to those in need, through local groups Bosom Buddies and PLAN (Physician Led Access Network of Collier County).
Cosmetic surgery isn't just a vanity issue, says Hasen, who has two children, Kendell and Kade, with wife Dellene. "It helps build self-confidence, helps people stay competitive in the workforce," he says.
